I live right around the corner from this restaurant and it's a cute little Chinese restaurant with cheap food! The food I would give about a 6/10 on taste but it definitely was cheap, and worth the short trek over for. The service was also very kind and was helpful when we were deciding what to order. They also have a deal where if you buy two party entrees, you can get one tray of rice or noodles for free! Great deal for someone looking for party food.
I highly recommend Chef Chen if you are on a low budget and want Chinese food this is the place to go. I had already recommended to some folks who like going to Chinese takeout. Come after 7 PM and get your third plate for free. I also ordered party platters here for a party I was hosting and I believe you order five trays and you get the 6 one for free. I have to doublecheck, but there is a sign on the wall. Me and my family always gets the orange chicken and fried fish delicious food.
Solid, inexpensive Chinese. Excellent portions. Service was friendly. Wish they had signs for each dish for easy ordering though. Closing times vary with the amount of traffic they receive, but on average close around 8pm. I did half/half chow mein and fried rice, sweet and sour pork, and Mongolian beef. Not mind blowing but everything was solid for to-go Chinese food. Also, tables and chairs are decorative-- we tried to sit and dine in and were told they are to-go only.
The ribs are delicious dry fried I mean for the price treat yourself to a a box! Fish and the rice order from back better fresh and yes Msg on request
My husband loves this place so this review will be for him ahah . I mean I do too but he loves Chinese food and it's been a staple place we come to for years . It's affordable staff is always nice and friendly and I love the samples . The wonton hits the spot on a cold day !
My son's favorite place for fried rice and noodles Food is set up under glass in heating pans Sometimes fresh sometimes not so fresh But all in all food is tasty when you get it hot Lots of food for a 2 or 3 item meal Price is fair Also just found out After 7 or 8 pm (close at 830) If you buy 2 meals you get 3rd for free Even without that bonus this is our spot for quick cheap Chinese
